Field Director, Trade Regulatory Audit, Miami Field Office

Gloria Arias is the Field Director for Trade Regulatory Audit (TRA), Miami Field Office (MFO) with over 24 years of government auditing experience. Her career with TRA began in 2001 with the legacy U.S. Customs Service in the New York Field Office. As the MFO Field Director, she leads the development, issuance, and management of the MFO audit plan based on CBP, Office of Trade priorities and goals established in coordination with stakeholders and TRA HQ. Her office is aligned with the Agriculture & Prepared Products Center of Excellence & Expertise, and its area of responsibility includes Florida, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. She is passionate about developing talent, improving audit quality, and strengthening organizational performance.
